As a minimum, you will require 1 x Elecbrakes Controller and EITHER the Hardwired Trailer Leader OR an Adapter Plug (not both!!!). IF you are fitting the Elecbrakes system to an existing trailer that already has electric brakes fitted, you will require an Adapter Plug (not the hard wired trailer leader!). IF you are fitting the Elecbrakes System to a NEW trailer, it is best to install the Hard Wired Trailer Leader (no need for an Adapter Plug!!). The Remote Control is optional (the entire system is designed to be run off an app on your smart phone!). This means that ANYONE in ANY vehicle can tow your trailer with the Elecbrakes system fitted so long as someone in the vehicle has the Elecbrakes App on their phone and it is paired to the controller on your trailer. Too easy! -
